  Dr. Intan Maria Lewiayu Vierke is a distinguished academician and industry expert with a robust educational background and extensive professional experience. Currently serving as a lecturer at Polytechnic APP Jakarta, a vocational higher education institution under the esteemed Ministry of Industry, which plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape and preparing students for success in the dynamic world of industry. Intan's academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science from Universitas Padjadjaran, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavours with a focus on understanding the intricacies of communication processes. Building on this foundation, she pursued a Master's degree in Economics from Universitas Indonesia, broadening her expertise to include the economic dimensions that shape industries and societies. Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a commitment to excellence, Intan further honed her skills by earning a PhD in Strategic Business Management from IPB University. Her doctoral research, titled 'Digital Transformation Model and Strategy in Vocational Higher Education', reflects her forward-thinking approach to addressing contemporary challenges in education, particularly in the area of digital transformation in vocational institutions.
In addition to her academic pursuits, she has become an advocate for innovative solutions such as the Integrated Skill Development Ecosystem (ISDE). Recognising the need to bridge the gap between education and industry needs, ISDE integrates real-world experiences, advanced technologies and customised learning pathways to produce job-ready graduates who are adaptable to evolving industries.
