Paolo Josef Blando, Program and Partnership Development Officer, National Teachers College

He is currently connected with The National Teachers College as Program and Partnership Development Officer and Lunduyan sa Kahusayan Training Manager. He has also served the same institutions as Academic Affairs Coordinator. In 2022, he was awarded Tatak Tanglaw. He was previously connected with XSEED Education Philippines as an Education Coach/Consultant. A topnotch trainer and facilitator, he works with the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) to train Senior High School administrators and elementary teachers and school heads. His best teaching practices and scholarly work have been presented at the annual assembly of the Asia Pacific Network for International Education and Values Education (APNIEVE Philippines) and the Asian University Digital Resource Network. He took a training on “Leaders in Education Programme International” at the National Institute of Education of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and completed the Emerging Ayala Group Leaders Program given by Ayala Group of Companies and Emeritus. He also sits as a member of the National Formation Team of the Student Catholic Action of the Philippines (SCAP) and has represented the Philippines in the World Council and Global Formation Sessions of the International Young Catholic Students (IYCS) in New Delhi, India. His recent engagements include serving as Facilitator in the Ayala Young Leaders Congress 2023, completion of the Emerging Ayala Group Leaders Program 2022 and Ayala Innovation Program 2023 and moderated a plenary session in EDUTech Asia 2023 in Singapore. He is a certified Innovation Associate from the Global Innovation Management Institute. He is also a member of the iPeople Innovation Team and is one of the conveners of the Inaugural iPeople e- Innovation Bootcamp for students. He previously served as High School Principal of Claret School. He is a licensed professional teacher and has taught Religious Education for the past 10 years in various Catholic basic education institutions. He is an author of textbooks and contributor in a Catholic publication. He has served as an FI lay missionary volunteer and has been assigned in Iloilo, Camiguin, and Cebu. He has also served as a campus minister of the Archdiocese of Manila.
