Assistant Professor Sarada Bulchand is the Lead for the Career Development Programme, for early-career researchers, at Duke-National University of Singapore (Duke-NUS) Medical School. She has 15 years of experience in scientific research and teaching at the undergraduate, postgraduate and faculty levels. She also leads faculty development programmes at the Duke-NUS SingHealth Academic Medicine Centre and has conducted numerous workshops in health professions education in areas of curriculum development and learner engagement using technology tools. She has received the ESME certificate in medical education. Dr Bulchand is a Team Based Learning practitioner and has conducted several flipped classroom workshops for STEM educators. She is the Co-Director of the Duke-NUS Premed Course for undergraduates at NUS. The course uses TBL as its central pedagogy. She is a career coach and is also certified in advanced conflict management including the Thomas Killman Instrument. She coaches and mentors early career researchers towards their professional development aspirations. She believes in lifelong learning and building a workforce that is competent and compassionate.
